The Society of Australian Systematic Biologists and the Invertebrate Biodiversity and Conservation group are offering 5 travel bursaries at $200 each (including GST) to assist post-graduate students wishing to present a paper or a poster at the combined Society of Australian Systematic Biologists (SASB), Invertebrate Biodiversity & Conservation, and the Australasian Systematic Botany Society conference in Sydney, 1-6 December 2013 ( http://www.systematics2013.org/).
All students wishing to apply for a bursary need to be a member of SASB (see http://www.sasb.org.au/).
To apply for a bursary, please submit by email
– Your full name and contact details (postal address, email, phone numbers)
– Name of the University and the department/school/program in which you are currently enrolled as a post-graduate student
– Name and contact details of your principal supervisor
– Title and abstract of your proposed presentation, and whether oral or poster
to the SASB President, Prof. Steve Cooper ( firstname.lastname@example.org) before July 12th, 2013.
Applications will be evaluated by the SASB Council and bursary recipients will be notified by email by the last week in July.
